DeConstruction Services has completed over 1000 projects in its 10-year history, ranging from bathrooms and kitchen remodels to entire city blocks. Selected projects include:
City of La Center, Washington
Deconstruction of a residence to make way for the new City Hall Building. See photographs here.
Daybreak Cohousing Project
A project with B&G Builders (formerly Barrs and Genauer Construction, Inc.) to deconstruct three apartment buildings totaling over 7,000 square feet, to make way for a planned community cohousing project. See photographs here.
Clark County Public Works
Deconstruction of The Leichner Farm involving six buildings, including two residences and two large barns with a combined area of over 8,789 square feet. See photographs here.
Humbolt Gardens Royal Rose Annex
A project with Walsh Construction and the Housing Authority of Portland to deconstruct 8,000 square feet of city housing. Two hundred and forty tons of material were salvaged and reused.
City of Wilsonville
A project for the City of Wilsonville to deconstruct a 2,200 square foot house to make way for a city park. Guided tours were conducted for the community and over 150 students from local schools attended.
Concordia University
Deconstruction of multiple houses and out-buildings for campus expansion, including a new library facility and student housing.
Goose Hollow Neighborhood
Deconstruction of a city block of 1900-era houses for Multnomah Athletic Club to make way for redevelopment plans.
Rosemount Commons
Portland Development Commission
A LEED project with Walsh Construction to deconstruct a school, convent, gymnasium and several out-buildings to accommodate an infill redevelopment project.
Lewis and Clark College’s Campus Housing Project
A LEED project with Hoffman Construction, Inc. to deconstruct and remove four houses making way for a new dormitory complex.
Adidas America/Kaiser Hospital
A project with R&H Construction to salvage cabinetry, doors, plumbing fixtures and other materials, much of which was donated to International Mercy Crops for hurricane relief.
