Tours and Presentations
The ReBuilding Center hosts a steady flow of school, community, conference and other tour groups that visit us to discover and learn. We also offer free presentations.
Through these opportunities, we tell our story and share our commitment to the environment, the local economy and communities. Tours and presentations are free. They will be tailored to meet the interests and needs of your group, but usually take between 30 and 90 minutes. They include a conversation about the history and mission of Our United Villages, as well as an overview of our various programs and services. Tour groups will have an opportunity to see first hand how we manage a 52,500 sq.ft warehouse that moves 16,000 lbs. of used building materials per day! Our presentations focus on sustainability, reuse, The ReBuilding Center, DeConstruction Services, ReFind Furniture, and/or Our United Villages’ non-profit social enterprise model.Tours and presentations are given by knowledgeable staff and will be customized for your group.
