Intro to Carpentry: Picture Frames

Miter cuts are one of the more common types of cuts in woodworking. They're used in house trim, furniture, boxes, and of course, picture frames!

Take home a really cool frame, but also take home new carpentry skills and confidence. Please note that frame sizes are limited to 8"x10" or smaller in class.

Skill level: Beginner/novice; open to ages 16+ (minors will need a signed youth waiver.)

* choosing materials and estimating quantity needed
* measuring & marking accurately
* chopsaw for cutting angles (miters)
* assembly: gluing and clamping with materials under $5
