Home Repair for All

ReBuilding Center recently launched our new Home Repair for All (HRA) program. HRA works with low-income homeowners, providing free home repair classes and building materials, as well as other tools and resources to help homeowners perform safe and affordable home maintenance and repairs.
During the 6-month program, participants receive the following free benefits:
Monthly classes in basic carpentry, home electrical, plumbing, home repair, and creative reuse (unlimited classes, min. commitment of 1/month)
Building materials, including lumber, appliances, paint, doors, windows, sinks, tubs, cabinets, hardware, and lighting fixtures (up to $500) + delivery available
Monthly newsletters with homeowner tips and tricks, upcoming classes, and helpful resources
Monthly group meetings with guest speakers, Q+A, information-sharing, and community-building (1 meeting per month)
Access to weekly Open Shop times as well as Expert Consultation slots with our skilled instructors
An opportunity to become a paid ambassador to help support future Home Repair for All cohorts
In order to participate, individuals must have household incomes of 80% AMI or less. There are a few ways to prove eligibility:
Referral from partner organization
Proof of income (paystubs, SSI / SSD /SNAP award letter, etc)
