Have you ever wondered what essential tools are useful around the house, or maybe you've been curious about what to do with some of the tools you already own? This is the class for you! Join us for a hands-on and skill-building tour around a toolbox. You'll get a chance to try out some tools like drills and saws, learn better hammering techniques, and discover more about measuring tapes than you ever knew was possible. Whether you're a homeowner, renter, or you've just wondered what all those tools in your toolbox are capable of, please join us!
This is a skills-based class where you will learn how to use tools but you will not build a project to take home.

Measuring and marking, including secrets of measuring tapes and speed squares
How to cut material safely using hand saws, utility knives, and circular saws
Using hammers effectively, and when to use nails
Using screwdrivers effectively, and when to use screws
