CLASS DESCRIPTION
Join us for a fan revolution! Learn how to repair broken household fans in this hands-on workshop presented by Repair PDX. Several instructors will be on hand to go through troubleshooting and common fan electrical repair issues and work together with you on the repairs.
You can bring your own fan to repair* or use the practice fans provided in class. All leftover repaired fans will be donated to Community Warehouse after the workshop.
Instructors from Repair PDX will cover these topics:
The basics of working with electrical appliances
Safety when working with electricity
Troubleshooting electronics
Demystifying the process of making repairs and encouraging repair culture
*Please only bring table fans, pedestal fans, box fans, or tower fans, and limit repair questions "why isn't my fan turning?" or other electrical issues.
