This hands-on workshop is designed for beginners looking to learn the fundamentals of woodworking. We'll introduce you to essential tools—with a particular focus on circular saws—guiding you through their safe and effective use. You'll gain practical experience in accurate measuring and cutting, as well as basic assembly techniques.
Throughout the class, you'll work on creating your very own step stool, measuring approximately 14"W x 14"D x 8"H. We provide all the necessary materials, including lovely reclaimed 2x4s and hardware. By the end of the class, you’ll have a sturdy, self-made step stool to take home. Plus, you'll be equipped with the knowledge and experience to tackle more woodworking projects in the future.

Skill level: This class is ideal for beginners ages 18 and over as well as 16 and 17 year-olds with parent or guardian permission
