CLASS DESCRIPTION
Learn how to use the essential tools we think should be in everyone’s toolbox. Whether you rent or own a home, these tools will help you do small repairs and give you skills to build on for more extensive projects. This is a great introduction for someone with no experience using tools and it’s also helpful for someone who is not sure if they’re using tools correctly.
Topics covered:
More about measuring tapes than you ever knew was possible
The ins and outs of power drills
Driving home better hammering techniques
Grabbing, holding, and securing with pliers and clamps
Choosing the right fastener
How to hang things in drywall and how to patch up small holes
This is a skills-based class where you will learn how to use tools but you will not make a project to take home.
Cost: $60
