FREE Youth Class: Tiny Tables

  • ReBuilding Center 3625 N Mississippi Ave Portland, OR, 97227 United States (map)

Does your child love hands-on activities? Are they curious about future careers in the trades? Our youth classes are designed to introduce youth to the world of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and more while fostering creativity and confidence.

In this class you can build a small table, a plant stand, night stand, or maybe a catch-all next to the front door. Using our very simple design and reclaimed lumber, you’ll make a simple table or bench while gaining skills and confidence to use in future DIY projects. (Maximum size: 24” on each side)

This is a project-based class. Come with a basic idea and leave with your new piece of custom furniture!

  • Measuring & marking accurately

  • Using chop saws safely

  • Drills and drivers

  • Using finish nail guns
