Last week, we shared what we accomplished in 2023. Want to know what we have planned for 2024? Of course you do!
We will launch our outreach programming!
Our education team will be bringing some of our home repair classes to community centers and schools throughout Portland. This is one more way we are working to ensure people are better able to access classes regardless of location or transportation constraints. Coming soon to a neighborhood near you (especially if you live east of 205)!
We will learn from the pilot Home Repair for All program and welcome a second, larger cohort of Home Repair for All participants in spring 2024.
If we receive additional funding, we are hoping to add new elements to the program, such as child care, bus passes, and tool kits. Support from our financial donors and members is what makes this program possible!
We will extend our Open Shop hours and open time slots to the public!
If you’ve ever wanted to make use of the array of power and hand tools we have in our education workshop, you’ll soon have the opportunity for a nominal fee. Stay tuned for news of when this new offering will drop!
All of this work is funded entirely by financial donations. Your support helps us live into our vision of climate, economic, and housing justice through reuse and repair.
Please consider joining us today by making a gift of any amount to our ReBuilding for Justice Campaign!
